Lovely Winter in Phoenix!

Lovely winter has arrived in Phoenix.  Heavy grey skies, cold wind and rain bless us today. But best news yet is that I have taken full possession of the rest of my property.  The workshop is MINE!  

If you remember from this post, the place was a giant mess.  Since then, the Ex has worked hard and has done a huge amount of cleaning and taken his chosen pottery pieces. The alley bin is crammed full to the rim with his final efforts from yesterday.  I assured him that I could handle the rest.

This is going to take longer than I thought, but every little bit I do brings me closer to having my very own art space.

The floor is covered with a deep pile of clay dust.  I have to be careful to not stir it up too much.  Breathing that in can cause silicosis - a nasty lung disease.

Anyway, I'll post more pictures as the cleanup/conversion continues.
