The early view of the Super Moon at
Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix, AZ
Stef and her telescope
Stefanie brought her telescope and with it she was able to get the shots below. Yeah, they aren't great because my camera is just a point-and-shoot digital.
Super Moon through the telescope
Mars - I think
Saturn - the ring was visible to the eye
but not so much to the camera.
We also got to see Venus in a crescent shape that Stefanie said was not a usual sight to see.
Thanks, gals for including me on a wonderful evening. Special thanks to the park ranger who gave us the most gentle nudge possible to get out of the park so he could lock the gates. (Poor man had to later go back and deal with a group of drunks.)
